Like I've said, this online dating thing has not been working out for me. My friends have said you have to give it time—like two years—before you meet someone good. That's a lot of failed dates and more disappointment than I want to deal with. But a few weeks ago, I actually met someone with potential. And, he seemed into me. Which is way more than I can say for the guy who spent ten minutes with me and then left me in Brooklyn.
Luckily for me, I know better, and didn't let myself get excited (although secretly I was kind of really looking forward to our next date). Friday night I met him at the train station and he greeted me with a big smile.
"I have some interesting news," he said. "I'm moving back to San Francisco...on December 14th."
But, I suppose you could have guessed that from the blog title.
