Welcome to Paris

I just got back from Paris, and like I am always compelled to do after a trip, I immediately unpacked and started editing photos. There's a lot of them to go through from this excursion, so I think the best way to tackle it is to break it down into bits. This is day one.

We arrived at our apartment in the late afternoon. After getting settled, we met up with my French friend Christophe who endured all the touristy things we wanted to do and also showed up some local spots, like the best sorbets. We learned that tourists from all over the world bring locks to Parisian bridges, hoping to "lock in" their relationship—after all isn't the Paris supposed to be the most romantic city in the world? Well, I hate to break it to you, but a lot of Paris smells like piss. But it's still pretty beautiful anyway. Here are some pics from day one.
